Don’t be anxious, pray

Great post worth sharing for all!

Beholding Him Ministries

Matthew 6.33But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?31Therefore do not be anxious, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’32For the Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all.33But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

34“Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. Matthew 6:30-34

Isn’t it amazing how many times we accept the enemy’s invitation to worry. Yes, it is true that most of things we worry about never happen but I am thinking that the…

When 1 Samuel 16:7 Rescues a Disappointing Life

This wa written in complete direction of the Holy Spirit

Brandon J. Adams

crossingI’m not where I hoped to be.

That’s a common phrase amongst us, but there are seasons that echo it louder than others.

It used to be that when I looked around and saw others living larger lives than mine, I’d console myself with the knowledge that they were older than I. You’re young. Just give it a few more years, I’d say. Then I’ll be there.

Didn’t happen.

Well, I overstate. Getting a bachelor’s degree and being almost out of debt from it is an elephantine blessing. I could certainly be in worse health. I’m not desperately miserable at work. The list goes on. I’ve known for a while that there will always be someone better off, and that chasing that is chasing after the wind.

But the battle rose to a new pitch recently when I took another look around at the powerful men surrounding me and realized with a start…they’re all…

The Mark Of A Leader

Well said

The Mark Of A leader

Buds will sprout on the staff belonging to the man I choose. Then I will finally put an end to the people’s murmuring and complaining against you. (Numbers 17:5)

Read: Numbers 16:41-18:32, Mark 16:1-20, Psalm 55:1-23, Proverbs 11:7

Relate: Three thousand four hundred eighty-six. That is the number of American churches in my denomination who did not report a single conversion in the year 2014. That is the number of American churches that are wasting their member’s time and money. That is the number of ministers who need to retire or be sacked. They are in the wrong profession. Am I being too harsh?

I firmly believe that the mark of a leader is that they actually lead people. Maybe that is too demanding but if someone has a title, or the position, or the “authority” to be a leader then they should take stock. Look around. If nobody is following you, I…

Who Is sitting at the Throne?

Jesus is sitting at the Throne in Heaven at God’s right hand.

Jesus was and is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end

He is the Foundation, our rock and redeemer

Our Fortress for help

His Kingdom shall last forever

Revelation 12:10

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, proclaiming,

“Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God
and the authority of his Messiah,
for the accuser of our comrades has been thrown down,
who accuses them day and night before our God.

Chosen For Kingdom Work

When Jesus came into the world, He walked among the people as God. One of the statements He made in  Matthew 12:28 – But if it is by the Spirit of God that I drive out demons, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

Now If you are born again, you know that God has chosen you for Kingdom Work. My question to you is this “What are you doing to advance the Kingdom?”th-12

Everlasting Kingdom -Part One

Psalm 145:13 Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdomand your dominion endures throughout all generations.

What does an everlasting Kingdom look like?

Revelation 4:1-6

                      The Throne in Heaven

After this I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven! And the first voice, which I had heard speaking to me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after this.” At once I was in the Spirit, and behold, a throne stood in heaven, with one seated on the throne.  And he who sat there had the appearance of jasper and carnelian, and around the throne was a rainbow that had the appearance of an emerald.  Around the throne were twenty-four thrones, and seated on the thrones were twenty-four elders, clothed in white garments, with golden crowns on their heads.  From the throne came flashes of lightning, and rumblings and peals of thunder, and before the throne were burning seven torches of fire, which are the seven spirits of God, and before the throne there was as it were a sea of glass, like crystal.

And around the throne, on each side of the throne, are four living creatures, full of eyes in front and behind.

Then There was Thrones

The Throne of Heaven is larger than we can imagine. The Throne is where our God resides, and His one and Only Son, Jesus Christ is at His right hand. All things are in Gods hands. Be ready for what will take place one day, stay alert and pray.

Luke 22:30 (NIV)  so that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom and sit on thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Live For The Kingdom

Times are getting rough these days and when there is no hope left here on earth, we know that we can call on God as we get down on our knees and worship Him. This life that you lead is given to you by God, so when you approach your earthly work for the Kingdom, remember the God that has humbled you this very day, this very hour, in this very time.

The vastness of the Kingdom is beyond our understanding, we can never know what God has in store for us as we continue our Work here for Him. Our job is to glorify Him, to take our ambitions away from earthly desires towards heavenly. Now my friend, be careful that you don’t stumble out of the field of His glory, boasting and pride pull you out of the field of play. Put your efforts towards directly others to God and what the everlasting life is all about. The Kingdom is important, that is where we will spend eternity and we want, to the best of our ability to bring people closer to the Almighty God in the everlasting Kingdom.
